Bridge for Improvers

Monday evenings 7.00-9.00 pm
(starts September 22nd)

- suitable those who have completed BfA1, or social players who “play a little” and would like to develop their game.

Developing Bridge

Thursday evenings 7.00-9.00 pm
(starts September 25th)

- suitable those who have completed the improvers course (BfA2), or social players with at least 2 years experience and would like to develop their game.

Both courses use EBU ‘Bridge for All’ teaching materials, and run for three 10-week terms.

*The Intermediate class is being held at The Leicestershire Golf Club, Evington Lane, Leicester. All others are at the County Bridge Club, 1 St James Road. 20 weekly classes starting week commencing 30 September 2008 for 10 weeks, followed by further 10 weeks commencing 6th January 2009.

Fees are £80 for 20 lessons/£40 for 10 lessons.

Supervised play is available on Thursdays at 2.00 pm at £2.50 per session.

Rawlins Community College
Rawlins Community College is between Leicester and Loughborough at Quorn.

Tuesday 3.15 - 5.15 pm
Bridge for All 1
(Beginners to Early Intermediate)

This course will introduce participants to the basics of contract bridge. Complete beginners will learn from scratch. Those who have some familiarity with bridge or whist will develop their skills.

Tuesday 5.30 - 7.30 pm
Bridge for All 2
(Intermediate to Early Advanced)

This course will develop the bridge skills of those who have taken the Bridge for All 1 course.

Both courses will continue in the Spring Term.
