Leicestershire Contract Bridge Association

Electronic Travellers and Scoring

a) The LCBA requires that in all centrally run sessions all results are recorded on traditional paper travellers and/or scorecards as appropriate.

b) The LCBA expects this will also normally be the case in league and other Home-Play matches, but permits the two captains to agree to employ electronic recording and scoring (e.g. by using BridgeMates).

c) Josephs Bowl and Gimson Trophy Club Preliminary Round Heat Directors wishing to employ electronic recording and scoring, must first give at least 7 days notice of this to the CC and to any captains not from the host club. The Competition Controller will still require hard copy travellers.
